Hideto Kida is a graphic designer based in Tokyo, Japan.
He was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1984. At age of 15, he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, and attended Mid-Pacific Institute, graduated in 2004. After two years of majoring in Business at Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC), he switched his career in art. Majoring in Interface Design program at KCC, he mastered Web design and coding. He graduated from New Media Arts Interface Design program at KCC in 2009. After an internship at Jon Duart Design Group, he further studied Graphic Design at University of Hawai’i at Manoa (UHM). In 2011, he graduated with BA in Studio Focus in Graphic Design from UHM. During his final year at UHM, he was presented with Hawai‘ian Graphics Artistic Achievement Award in Graphic Design by Anne M. Bush, chair of design program at UHM.
He returned to Tokyo in April 2012.
