This is an ink drawing of Aldin-French: Old Style Typeface done for Typography course. The assignment was to modify typeface from one style to another. The original typeface was Transitional Style Typeface with straight edged serif. To recreate the characteristics of French Aldin Typeface, straight lines around the serif was redrawn in slightly curved lines and the inclined axis were exaggerated. Looking into the typeface carefully made a deeper understanding of typography.
